"The World Today", our daily e-Alert sent at 2100 hrs every evening, aims to cover major developments from East Asia to the Americas. It also includes “Today in History” - a glimpse of what happened on that day in history. The final section has a list of editorials and opinions from around the world.
"Conflict Weekly" and "The World This Week" are two weekly publications that cover major developments relating to conflicts and global politics that happened during the week. The publications contains three to four short notes every week, in 700-800 words, looking at three questions: What happened? What is the background? What does it mean?
Both publications also feature a “Regional Roundup” section, offering concise, region-wise snapshots of key global developments. These brief updates provide quick context, enabling readers to track regional trends along with the main focus notes.
All three publications are also capacity-building initiatives; they serve as a platform for young scholars interested in conflict-related and global issues. These three publications complement each other.
